Weezers Cardroom was created after sisters, Cori and Nikki, found themselves looking for birth announcements about 10 years ago. they didn't find what they were searching for, so they decided to make their own. friends loved them and began asking Cori and Nikki to make announcements and invitations.
then one day a friend made a comment "why don't you open up your own store?" and as they say the rest is history. over the years, different artists and designers have assisted the sisters. currently brittany freeman is a graphic designer, and ashton brawner who is a fabulous artist - join cori, nikkie, and emily mason in creating incredible creations from cards of all kinds (my imagination isn't even broad enough), personalized backpacks, shirts, skirts, baby clothes, placemats, cups, water bottles, lunch bags, towels, AND now pillows and canvases.

Fun Is In The Air......
Since Spring seems to make us aware it IS here - I wanted to expand on having FUN in our spaces and places we live.
When the word FUN is used, we all have our different ways we experience FUN. Snowboarding, tennis, a movie,etc....... but what comes to our minds when we apply FUN to our surroundings - the space in which we live?
and I'm not talking about a pool tables, dart boards, ping pong..............I'm talking about putting elements in our spaces and places that make us smile, laugh, and even giggle!
Having a little fun in our surroundings helps us to relax - not take life so seriously. Vanessa Delon demonstrates this very well.

Has Spring Sprung?
this is the question we are all asking ourselves. even the azaleas are in full belief it is Sping! does our home believe it is Spring?

Maybe it is our outdoor spaces that are in alignment with the sun, moon, tides........because they're responding naturally. And what are we doing? turning our air conditioners on to cool off. Those wool blankets which were meant to keep us all snuggled up nice and warm during a cold night are being used to keep warm in the fake cold (the air conditioner)!
Back to Spring (back to reality - aren't those words in a song - back to life, back to reality?) Life/Spring they go hand in hand.
Spring reminds me of FUN. Flying kites in a big open field, watching my paper boat float in the stream - seeing if it will come out on the other side of the bridge. Having those moments when there is a chill in the air giving me a lift to move about. Coming out of the cocoon. Then Spring cleaning comes to mind - that's a whole "nuther" story.
Back to FUN in our homes - is your home Springing forth with fun and excitement keeping in time with the season?

the Wiregrass is chock-full of artisans and craftsmen.... throughout Southeast Alabama, Northwest Florida and Southwest Georgia i will take us on a magic carpet ride (a nice persian of course) introducing various individuals, their gift, and how to locate them. We never know when we might need to know.....broadening our horizons may inspire us to utilize these most talented individuals in our own projects.
